I’m Leelan Farhan, a UX Strategist and the founding UX Researcher at Aylo, where I built our research practice from the ground up. In just two years, I turned a gut-driven product culture into one where no major decision moves forward without evidence—saving hundreds of thousands in development costs and helping teams solution for what users actually need.
I gravitate toward roles that are messy, ambiguous, and resistant to change. Whether it’s winning over skeptics, working in challenging industries, or running large-scale research with a resource shortage, I thrive on challenges that push both product and people to grow.
Before Aylo, I spent a decade in research, teaching, and participatory design—earning a Master of Information and conducting five years of PhD work. I love teaching and continue to look for mentorship opportunities.
When not knee-deep in research, you can find me working on my latest writing project, usually at a local cafe or in the park.
